Every student was given a word/phrase as a prompt a couple of weeks ago to serve as inspiration for their artwork. Mine was bifurcation, which is a dividing of a main body into two parts. I created a hanging sculptural thing out of paper that has bifurcating shapes that go all the way down. It's a little difficult to explain but after the event I will try and upload pictures!
After Saturday I am heading to Barcelona for three days, then back to Paris and then onto Berlin to begin my internship!!! (That is also when I will get into full blog mode!) I'm getting both nervous and excited for it. Today I received an e-mail from my boss at the Labyrinth Kindermuseum, telling me when and where to meet her on the 21st. She says that she and everyone else there is looking forward to my arrival, which is nice to hear :)
On a side note, I have been having an absolutely horrible time with internet connection here at the Abbey and uploading pictures, accessing e-mail/certain sites has been a nightmare. I'm hoping things are better in Germany...
This is why this post has no photos :( Sad, I know, but uploading this blog was a hassle in and of itself!
