Berlin Art Galleries

Okay, so this will be a short post because my last one was so long but I went to Strychnin Gallery (near Frankfurter Tor) after work today to see the current exhibit, Fragility. It was AMAZING! The artist makes these incredibly detailed porcelain dolls based on literary and historical references.

Here is one doll from the exhibition. It is titled, Captain Nemo's Daughter:

There are, apparently, two more of these galleries, located in London and New York.

I am going to try and make a goal of going to at least two art galleries in Berlin per week. Since the public transportation system is so expansive, I think this will be totally feasible!
